Larissa Doherty has been an active member of the Toronto Real Estate Board since 2008 when she transitioned from a career in Classical piano, along with work in the education and performing arts scene in Toronto. After graduating from the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto and building up a music studio of approximately 30 students, along with being privileged to perform and tour with a Classical music ensemble in locations such as Italy and Ireland, she challenged herself to pursue a career in residential real estate to provide a higher level of professionalism, knowledge and service to the industry.
Excited with the change, Larissa immediately began focusing her business on Toronto condos where she saw the greatest potential for buyers and sellers in this booming segment of the real estate market. As a resident of the condo-dominated Bay Street Corridor since 2007, Larissa has insight into condo living and lifestyle that proves her to be a valuable resource for buyers wanting to know more about condo ownership as well as sellers seeking to maximize their potential when it comes to selling. Since the fall of 2013, she has opened The Condo Lounge, a real estate branch office of Real Estate Homeward, to service the Toronto condo market at the base of Canada’s tallest residential condominium. As a boutique office in the condo community, Larissa provides a convenient one-stop-shop for assistance to everyone from first-time buyers to investors, with her thorough breadth of knowledge from both personal and professional experiences in real estate acquisitions and sales.
Larissa is enthralled with the art of public speaking and has honed her skills at Toronto Business Toastmasters. It is there that she experimented with ideas related to leadership, effective communication and body language. In addition, she has a competitive sports edge as an avid cyclist and is a lover of triathlons and racing events while also enjoying the intensity and mental endurance of an ongoing yoga practice.
