Today marks a new era on Bay Street – Burano Condos just recently opened its doors for occupancy and suites there have been getting lots of activity from renters, purchasers and owners. At present, occupancy has been granted up to approximately the 10th floor.
The lobby is starting to come together with white, open-style furniture setting the mood for the entryway. For a bit of whimsy, the lobby pillars appear to bend and flex in unusual ways. Colourful glass will soon be covering much of what is currently builder’s primer on pencil-marked walls.
The hallway walls and floors are surprisingly complete for a building still under construction, considering the rough state many developers consider “ready for occupancy” nowadays. Dark door frames section out the purple suite number panels amongst modern wallpaper up and down the halls. Lightly stripped tiles mix with thick squared carpeting running the length of the hallways off the elevators.
The 3rd floor amenities are still in their budding stages with access restricted for most of what will later be available. Lots of locked doors with the signs, “Restricted Access – Construction Underway” on doors that I curiously tried to open anyway.
More information to come on how I found the interior of the suites. In the meanwhile, I have lots of details available on my alternative Bay St. website, Burano-Condo.com
